What is Sculptra™?
The active ingredient in Sculptra™ is poly-L-lactic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance. It provides volume on its own but the formula also stimulates your own collagen growth, which creates fullness and volume in the area where its injected. The result is visible immediately following the injection but the patient’s ideal results are typically not achieved until a few weeks after injection. Our Nashville patients are simply thrilled with their results! After the injection, new collagen is generated which increases the volume to enhance the result within a few weeks. Results from the Sculptra™ Butt Lift / Butt Augmentation injections last about 3 years and diminish on their own.

What does it feel like?
Sculptra™ Buttock Lift / Buttock Augmentation is a nonsurgical and requires minimal downtime. During your visit your Board Certified doctor will apply numbing ointment topically, so you shouldn’t have any pain. The Sculptra™ is then injected into the buttock while you are laying on your stomach and are comfortable. After the procedure, you may experience slight soreness and redness for a very short period of time, which is normal. Most of our patients report that they experience minimal discomfort.
